1. Who can take the Michigan Concealed Pistol Class?

2. How many states recognize the Michigan CPL?
Answer: 39 states accept Michigan CPL
3. Do I need to do anything else after taking your class?
Answer: Yes, you need to apply for your CPL permit at your County Clerk's Office where you reside. You have 5 years
to apply from the date you take the class.
4. Can I bring my firearm and ammunition into the class room?
Answer: No, there is no live ammunition in any of our class rooms per NRA regulations. You may bring
your own registered firearm that is a 9 mm or less in caliber to the day of class or you can rent a firearm
from us.
5. I have never touched a gun before but I would like private lessons to learn how to defend myself. Can you do this?
Answer: Yes we can do private lessons to meet your needs.
6. Can I take the class if I don't have a firearm?
Answer: Yes, you do not need a firearm for the class. You may rent a firearm for range shooting. And yes, if you
own your own firearm, you may bring it to the shooting range if it is a 9 mm or less in caliber. No live ammo
in classroom!
7. What should I wear?
Answer: The class room material will all be inside. The range time will be all outdoors so dress appropriately.
Boots are advised when rain or snow is in the forecast.
8. How many rounds will we shoot at the range for completion of this class?
Answer: NRA requires that we shoot 98 rounds. Michigan minimum is 30 rounds.
9. Can I register and prepay for your class on line?
Answer: Yes! You can register for the class and prepay for the class right on this web site. Go to Registration
tab to register for class and go to store tab to prepay for class and firearm rental if needed.
